Pathfinder Conspiracy?

Here at oblivion, we receive lots of wacky mail. We got this image last week and decided to create a web page for it, seeing as how conspiracy pages seem to generate hits so well.

Here's the story, conspiracy theory, truth, lie, cover up, whatever. Supposedly, the NASA folks decided to piece together a Martian landscape, including the lone cactus they had yet to clear away from their Pathfinder site in the New Mexico desert. It was to be a souvenir for the crew, not to be seen by anyone else. Well, I guess you can't trust your colleagues, especially when working for secretive government agencies. Could it be real? Personally, I would be more inclined to believe it if there was a Roswell sign and a dead alien in the background, but hey, that's just me.

Here is some mail I recieved recently that could shed some light on the mystery.

Saguaro Cacti don't grow in New Mexico. The picture, if New
Mexico, is a fake.
