HTP - Volume 3, Issue 2- November/December 1997

Dedicated to Jesus, on his very special day.

Here at HTP, it makes us angry to see people trying to write Jesus out of the Holiday Season. X-Mas, Festive Season, or any of a thousand other politically correct labels (this sentence has no verb). Don't you people know that Jesus is the reason we celebrate the season? For Christ’s sake, put the Christ back in Christmas. Not that everyone has to believe in Christ (even though if you don't you're going to hell), but the majority of people in this country still do. With this in mind, HTP has dedicated this entire issue to Jesus, and his life's accomplishments.

Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary through immaculate conception. He grew up to be a teacher, and a fisher of men. Soon he gathered twelve disciples, who helped him spread the good word. Eventually the Romans decided to kill him, so he ran off to Siberia, leaving his twin brother Yoshi in his place. >From Siberia, Jesus made his way to Japan, where he lived in a fishing village. Living to the age of one hundred and six, Jesus fathered six children before dying of old age.* About a millennium later, he returned to life and walked among the native peoples of North America. He recorded his exploits on tablets of solid gold, which an angel later gave to Joseph Smith. Smith transcribed the tablets, and turned them into the Book of Mormon, or the third testament.
