What is HTP? Here Title Place is a student viewspaper started in 1995 by the students of the Woodlands School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. After years of simply grinning through the witless actions of administration and student representatives, the students of the Woodlands school organized their own unofficial voice. HTP is published roughly every two monthes, and is distributed free of charge, without staff supervision, or funding. After our first issue, the official Woodlands newspaper, Woodchips, published a scornful rebuttal.
How can I get a copy? Copies of HTP are distributed free-of-charge on a bi-monthly basis. To keep updated on publication dates, you can subscribe to the HTP emailing list from the front page. You can usually find a big box of copies in the cafe, and sometimes in the library and other places like the SAC office. For those readers who do not attend Woodlands, you can always read the issue on the internet (although you miss all the fancy visuals). If you would like a paper-copy of HTP sent to you by mail, please email us and we'll work something out. How can I contribute? Articles can be submitted at any time by handing them over at school, or by transmitting them to this address.
Students everywhere (not just at Woodlands) are encouraged to submit articles, opinions, comics, etc. If you have access to a scanner (that can scan text well), you can help by scanning issues, and helping us put them online. Send mail to find out more. Supernetheads are encouraged (begged, in fact) to donate their know-how and time to help produce this page. Suggestions and improvements are always appreciated.
Notes on viewing HTP on the web In keeping with the ideal of a web accessable to all, we have tried to make sure that anyone using any computer or browser can view our pages. We have, however, used some enhancements which some older browsers may not be compatible with. We suggest you pickup a copy of either Netscape 3 or Internet Explorer 3, both of which are very good and also free.
